Sydney screening of the Available Light Test

AFTRS have gotten behind us to support a Sydney screening of the Available light test on the 2nd of June at 6:30 pm.

I’ll be presenting this and we’ll hopefully have Kate Dennis as well to present a 35mm print and a digital screening of the same test at the AFTRS cinema.

Seats are very limited so make sure you get in quick with RSVP’s !

One Response to Sydney screening of the Available Light Test

    Hey John,

Thanks so much for putting this screening on, I really appreciated it. Just a shame that we couldn’t watch the DCP as I saw some of my own 5d footage (cropped to 2:35!) projected onto a 40 foot screen at the Randwick Ritz off a 2k projector and I was amazed at the detail you get into the blacks. Anyway, I think that the Super 16, though not being the sharpest or optically perfect suited the short film the most and I definitely had the deepest emotional connection to.
Just one question I didn’t get a chance to ask is what LED did you use for fill at night?
    Thanks once again.

    Cheers,

    Sam
